Klamath County Change to Accepting Money Effective 9 September 2023

 

Klamath County will only accept money for Adults in Custody as follows:

 

Bail Money will be accepted 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. (Anytime)

 

All other money for Adults in Custody will only be accepted during the following times:

 

Monday thru Friday from 6 PM To 11 PM

All Day Saturday and Sunday and Holidays

The Klamath County Jail was built in 1989. It is staffed by experienced and well-trained correctional deputies and operates 24-hours a day, 365 days per year. The jail has its own kitchen that is staffed by in custody workers and supervised by civilian cooks. Laundry is done by in custody workers as well. Each section has an indoor and outdoor recreation area as well as a book library cabinet that is maintained by the Klamath County Library.

We receive prisoners from all law enforcement agencies in to include the Klamath County Sheriff's Office Patrol and Detective divisions, the City of Klamath Falls Police Department, the City of Merrill Police Department, the City of Malin Police Department, the Oregon State Police, and various other state and federal agencies.
